The story-driven spin-off of the Dying Light 2 Stay Human series with an open world and drivable vehicles. The game takes place in an entirely new location called the Castor Woods, filled with natural landmarks, small settlements, and industrial complexes. The story follows Kyle Crane, the main character from the first Dying Light, who has survived years of inhumane experiments and broken free.
Dying Light: The Beast is a controversial continuation of the second game, in which almost nothing remains of the series except for Kyle Crane and the rotting zombies that are still fun to bash with a pipe.

A rather enjoyable game. Compared to the second game, it follows in the footsteps of the first, bringing back the truly terrifying and dark nights. The gameplay has become less casual. Instead of scouring the map for upgrades for the main character, we only unlock upgrades for our berserker mode, with all other upgrades unlocked through leveling up. The map isn't as large as the second game, but it's filled with various details and interesting mini-locations. In my opinion, The Beast, while shorter and less expansive than the second game in the series, is well-rounded and never gets boring.
