Baldur's Gate 3 Developers Release Christmas Advent Calendar Hinting at New Game

Larian Studios is not only hard at work on new projects, but is also preparing for Christmas and the New Year. In honor of the upcoming holidays, the creators of Baldur's Gate 3 have released an advent calendar with rewards and teased the upcoming game again.

The developers have launched a website where users can complete puzzles and receive small prizes for doing so. Completing the first puzzle opens access to a funny video in which a festive Swen Vincke holds a gift box with the inscription «Next Larian's Game». Of course, he did not reveal what it will be about, but he did talk a little about its scale and the considerable time it will take to develop.

Solving the second puzzle allows you to read a New Year's fairy tale about Mintara and goblins from Baldur's Gate 3 with Larian Studios' signature dark humor. You can also listen to it performed by the game's narrator.

The advent calendar is designed for several days until December 24, Christmas Eve. Perhaps the last surprise will lift the veil of secrecy over the studio's new game.
