First Look at Virtua Fighter: A Sequel to the World's First 3D Fighting Game

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku showcased fresh footage from the upcoming Virtua Fighter at CES 2025. While the new fighting game doesn’t yet feature complete gameplay, the developers shared a concept video to tease its vision.
The footage, created using the in-game engine, offers a glimpse into the visual style of the project. The original Virtua Fighter made history as the first-ever 3D fighting game.
The new Virtua Fighter was unveiled during NVIDIA’s major presentation, where CEO Jensen Huang officially introduced the RTX 50 series graphics cards and the DLSS 4 technology.
No release date has been announced for the game yet.
