Skyrim World Shown with Modern Graphics
YouTuber L.Torres has posted a video showcasing a walk through Skyrim from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, rendered with Unreal Engine 5 graphics.
In the video, the enthusiast showed four cities—Winterhold, Falkreath, Morthal, and Solitude—recreated using the modern engine. Unfortunately, the video creator did not populate the locations with people and animals, which prevented them from properly capturing the atmosphere of the iconic RPG. However, the video does offer a glimpse of what The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim could look like if it received a remake on Unreal Engine 5.
It’s worth mentioning that rumors have been circulating online for some time about a remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, the previous entry in the series. It's speculated that the project will be announced at the Xbox Developer_Direct presentation on January 22nd and released by the end of 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. According to these rumors, the game is being developed by Virtuos Games using Unreal Engine 5.
