A new trailer for the 90s-inspired strategy game Tempest Rising has been released. Pre-orders have started on Steam
3D Realms has unveiled a new trailer for the real-time strategy game Tempest Rising, which draws inspiration from 90s projects. Additionally, the developers have opened pre-orders for the game.
On Steam, the standard edition of Tempest Rising is priced at $40. The Deluxe Edition, priced at $50, offers gamers the chance to play seven days before the official release, scheduled for April 24th this year.
Currently, gamers can check out the Tempest Rising demo featuring multiplayer mode. It will be available until February 3rd.
The main action of the game unfolds in an alternate modern world. There are three factions, each with its own approach to war and economy. At launch, two single-player campaigns with cutscenes between missions will be available.
Moreover, the developers promise a skirmish mode (custom games and matchmaking games using the Glicko-2 rating system).
