Scarlett Johansson and T-Rex in the First Trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth

The debut trailer for the action-packed Jurassic World: Rebirth has just been released online. Starring Scarlett Johansson in the lead role, the film is set to hit theaters on July 2.

Rebirth marks the seventh installment in the franchise, taking place five years after the events of the previous film. Dinosaurs have adapted to the new world, but due to harsh climate conditions, they have migrated to tropical regions. Meanwhile, the protagonist, Zora Bennett (Johansson), embarks on a top-secret mission: to track down three of the largest dinosaurs and retrieve their DNA—an element that could be key to saving human lives.

The film is directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), with Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali also starring.
