Rift of the NecroDancer Earns 98% Positive Reviews on Steam

Brace Yourself Games has officially released Rift of the NecroDancer, a rhythm-based follow-up to Crypt of the NecroDancer, heavily inspired by the Guitar Hero series.

The game follows protagonist Cadence, who finds herself in a strange new world filled with skeletons, vampire bats, and other supernatural creatures. Along the way, she will also face powerful bosses that require unique strategies to defeat.

Much like Guitar Hero, players must focus on a guitar-style note highway while timing their attacks to defeat enemies. Each monster has distinct behavior—for instance, bats jump to another lane after being hit, while others require multiple strikes to take down.

At the time of writing, Rift of the NecroDancer has received 348 Steam reviews with an impressive 98% positive rating. Players praise its fantastic soundtrack, with many stating that the two-year wait was well worth it.

The game is available on Steam for 17,55€ and can also be played on Nintendo Switch.
