Hollow Knight: Silksong Could Launch in the Coming Months
March 20, 2025, 09:12 AM

Hollow Knight: Silksong might be closer than expected. Yesterday, Microsoft reaffirmed that the long-awaited game is still in development and will be released in the near future—likely as a Day One title for Game Pass.
Looking ahead, our lineup is incredible with upcoming games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Descenders Next, and FBC: Firebreak to play across the whole Xbox universe… and of course Hollow Knight: Silksong too!
Following this statement, insider and blogger eXtas1s shared that the game could arrive as soon as June. While the date isn't set in stone, Microsoft is reportedly aiming for a release in the first half of 2025.
There’s no word yet on when Silksong will be showcased next, but if eXtas1s' information is accurate, it might be soon. The next major event, a Nintendo Direct, is scheduled for April 2.
