Ascendio 2.1 — FPS Hotfix and Engine Tweaks for Hogwarts Legacy — FPS Improvement
A mod that fixes FPS issues. It's no secret that Hogwarts Legacy is a very demanding game. Not all mid-range computers can maintain a stable frame rate, but there is a solution. This modification significantly improves FPS by fine-tuning parameters.
Note that the mod may not work for everyone. The author himself mentions this, as he does not have the opportunity to test the add-on on PCs with different configurations. A separate point highlights the need to disable ray tracing — don't forget about this. Also, the installation does not imply the usual copying of files to the mods folder. You will need to replace the Engine.ini file and run the internal installer.
Ultra Plus Cut-Scene Visuals and FPS Fixes — Graphics Improvement
A large-scale graphics mod that improves the graphics in literally every aspect:
- Adjusts gamma, as well as mid and high color points, making everything look much more organic and less blurry, and uses the full dynamic range of light;
- Enables SSGI (global illumination). This makes the light more real;
- SSGI works at ½ resolution, saving 10-20 frames per second without visual costs;
- Adjusts fog, making it more realistic;
- Shadows are now controlled by SSGI and also look more realistic;
- Increases draw distance and how far you can see light cast by a source;
- Glare through windows looks more beautiful, slightly increased amount of grass;
- Removes reflections, makes them more realistic, and adds shadows to them (without ray tracing);
- Enhances image sharpness and adjusts textures (you also don't need to use DLSS or FSR sharpness);
- Changes depth of field.
(x6 Reshade options) Hogwarts Legacy Realism Overhaul Reshade Better Textures 2023 — Detail Enhancement
A graphical mod that doesn't change existing models but adds realism and detail. To install, you will need to download a special application. Interestingly, the modification is fully compatible with other texture mods, but it's better to disable ray tracing. The vast majority of graphical mods for Hogwarts Legacy do not get along well with it.
Sharp and natural lighting (performance friendly) Hogwarts Legacy reshade — Light and Shadow Enhancement
While retaining the recognizable atmosphere of the game, the mod significantly changes the parameters of light and shadow. The overall fog is reduced, and the colors become more natural. As with the detail enhancement mod, you will need to download Reshade.
