Battlefield 2142 is a first-person shooter. The next, fourth game in the Battlefield series moved the action to 2142. It has been several decades since global cooling began on Earth, which led to a new ice age. The glacier is capturing more and more vital areas of the developed countries of Eurasia. People do not have enough territory to live. There are fewer and fewer places left where you can still move without special insulated suits. A new world war, called the Cold War, breaks out. A war for territory, for resources, for life. The game does not use laser or ultrasonic weapons, but firearms, thanks to which shots are heard.

I played on a local network with friends, of course, the gameplay is very slow, but the grandiose battles with many bots/people and also with very interesting equipment and weapons were or may be attractive (if they still sell them)
Играл по локальной сети с друзьями ,конечно, геймплей очень медленный ,но грандиозные бои со множеством ботов/людей да и к тому же с очень интересной техникой и оружием привлекали или может привлекают (если только её ещё продают)
BF2142 played on a local computer a couple of years ago. I downloaded the original and rolled the mod on top. I played it, I liked it. Then I downloaded all the maps that I found on the Internet. Then I went into the Mod settings and “upgraded” it: added new weapons (AK-47, SVD and American snipers with increased optics/shot range and other types from BF2). I also upgraded the standard weapons - reduced recoil, added accuracy and range, capacity of magazines with cartridges, added protection and running range and a lot of other things for yourself... The result is a Mod of about 2 Gb with a large set of maps, which can be played on a local grid, on Of. Of course, you can’t access servers with this Mod...

BF2142 играл на локальном компе пару лет назад. Скачал оригинал, накатил сверху мод. Пошпилил, понравилось. Затем скачал все карты, что нашёл в сети. Затем залез в настройки Мода и "доапгрейдил" его: добавил новое оружие (АК-47, СВД и Американские снайперки с увеличенной оптикой/дальностью выстрела и другие виды из BF2). Доапгрейдил и штатное вооружение — уменьшил отдачу, добавил кучность и дальнобой, объём магазинов с патронами , добавил защиту и дальность бега и много чего под себя... Получился Мод около 2 Gb с большим набором карт, в который можно играть по локальной сетке, на Оф. Серверы с таким Модом конечно же, не зайти...
P.S. Кстати, все модификации сделать не очень сложно — всё можно редактировать в обычном Блокноте (сохранив предварительно оригиналы настроек как бэкап). Гла… Read full
It was an awesome toy for its time. I played in 2006-2007, I liked more than 2 of them, there were a lot of fantastic stuff and the technology was interesting, it was especially fun with the levitating tank.
Офигенная была игруха, для своего времени. Играл 2006-2007, нравилась больше чем 2, много всяких приблуд фантастических и техника интересная, особенно прикольно было на левитирущем танке.
