Great game. Better than Dota, I think. At one time I sat in it for n number of hours and enjoyed it. It’s a pity that funding for it was cut and therefore the future fate of the game is unknown. But if you are tired of the same type of MOBA, then HotS will give you new impressions and practice.
Отличная игра. Лучше доты, я считаю. В свое время просидел в ней n-ное количество часов и наслаждался этим. Жаль, что урезали финансирование для нее и поэтому дальнейшая судьба игры неизвестна. Но если Вы устали от однотипных MOBA, то HotS подарит вам новые впечатления и практику.

Heroes of the Storm — альтернатива столь полюбившейся всем DotA от Blizzard. Оценив успешность Dota 2, "Метелица" решила создать свою MOBA и грести с нее деньги. Собственно, для этого у ребят есть и несколько игровых миров, и персонажи, и голова на плечах. Все это позволило им создать неплохую игру и, возможно, конкурента уже набравшим популярность MOBA-играм.
В то же время HotS заметно отличается от LoL и Dota 2. Здесь нет артефактов, команда имеет общий уровень, даже прокачка отличается от привычных плюсов к способностям. I switched to hots from Dota 2. Compared to Dota, the game is quite arcade-like. But it's really difficult to play at high ranks. A large pool of playable heroes, where each of them is relevant and anyone can win (unlike the Dota 2 characters). A large number of advantages:
+Graphics and animation
+MM (the rating is partly a masterpiece), because you will burn less.
+Time of 1 game is (10-25 minutes)
+variety of cards (9 at the moment)
Cons:
- lengthy battles in places
- system for reconnecting to the game
- dear danat
After leaving the beta version, the game did not gain popularity, but it provides good variety in mob games.

Пересел на hots с доты 2. Если сравнивать с дотой, то игра достаточно аркадная. Но на высоких рангах играть действительно сложно. Большой пул играбельных героев, где каждый из них актуален и любым можно побеждать (в отличии от персонажей доты 2). Большое количество плюсов:
+Графика и анимация
+ММ (ретинг шедеврален отчасти), т.к. гореть вы будите меньше.
+Время 1 игры составляет (10-25 минут)
+разнообразие карт (9 на данный момент)
Минусы:
- местами затяжные бои
- система переподключения в игру
- дорогой данат
После выхода из бэта версии игра не взыскала популярност, но дает хорошее разнообразие в моба играх.
