It’s even strange that car tuning came so late to racing games. Considering that the genre originated during the 8- and 16-bit consoles, the appearance of this “feature” only many years later is very strange.
One way or another, now almost any race in one way or another allows the player to customize their cars - paint them, change spare parts and decorate them with stickers.
