Best Tower Defense Games Ever Made
Tower Defense is a popular genre of strategy games where the player does not have the ability to control an army of units: they must defend a road (or roads) from approaching enemies by building towers. The towers shoot on their own, so the gamer only needs to plan their placement and type, which significantly affects the outcome of the mission.
Enemies also have their own characteristics to prepare for: some may fly, some ignore projectiles from certain towers, and some move faster than others. All of them have weapons, but it's important to place them correctly.
This list includes the best games in the Tower Defense genre, regardless of the year of release and gameplay features.
