Tower Defense
Tower Defense is a common genre of strategy games in which the player does not have the ability to control an army of units: he must defend a road (or roads) from oncoming enemies by building towers. They shoot on their own, so the gamer must plan only their location and type, which, in fact, greatly influence the outcome of the ongoing mission.
Enemies also have their own characteristics that you need to prepare for: some can fly, some ignore shells from some towers, and some move faster than others. They all have weapons, but it is important to position them correctly.
This list contains the best games in the Tower Defense genre, regardless of the year of release and gameplay features.
