The modification transforms the gameplay of Doom, incorporating many elements from Hotline. These include:
- Character selection – each with unique traits;
- Ability to hold only one weapon – to pick up a new one, you must discard the old;
- One-hit death – health packs and armor are no longer necessary;
- Score tracking – the method of killing an enemy and the type of enemy killed yield different points.
This makes the game even more intense and challenging, and the ability to combine it with other mods, including cooperative ones, only enhances the mod's appeal. The beta version includes only the gameplay – custom maps are required (the original campaign will also work).
Модификация преображает геймплей Doom, добавляя в него многие аспекты Hotline. Это:
- Возможность выбора персонажа – у каждого своя особенность;
- Возможность держать только одно оружие – чтобы подобрать новое, старое придётся выкинуть;
- Смерть с одного удара – аптечки и броня больше не нужны;
- Подсчёт очков – способ убийства врага и тип убитого дают разное количество очков.
Это делает игру ещё интенсивнее и сложнее, а возможность совмещать с другими модами, в том числе и кооперативным, играет моду лишь на руку. В бета-версию входит лишь геймплей – карты нужны свои (оригинальная кампания тоже подойдёт).
