Gran Turismo 2 — the game uses 2 completely different modes — arcade and simulator. In the first, the player can freely choose cars and tracks and participate in races. In the simulator you need to get a driver's license, pay for cars and earn trophies to open new tracks. The game features 650 cars and 27 racing tracks.

The already excellent physics model of the game has been improved and taken to a whole new level. There are now many more races in the career mode, races from the manufacturer have appeared, and, of course, the main innovation is the Rally mode with interesting tracks. Everyone knows the main songs of this part - The Cardigans and Rom Zombie, but compared to the first part, something is missing, especially in the European version of the game.
To start the career mode and start earning decent money, you need to pass a test in five types of licenses - B, A, IC, IB and IA, after which the last one opens - the Super license. For special efforts, the player will be rewarded with exclusive cars that you can’t just buy.

В режиме карьеры стало куда больше гонок, появились заезды от производителя, и, конечно же, главное нововведение — режим Ралли с интересными трассами. Все знают главные песни этой части — The Cardigans и Rom Zombie, однако по сравнению с первой частью чего-то не хватает, особенно в европейской версии игры.
