Grand Theft Auto 4 is a continuation of the cult series of games about the great car thief with a third-person view in the open world. In this part you will try on the role of the Serb Niko Bellic, who sails to Liberty City in search of a better future. His brother Roman outlined the delights of the American dream, the land of opportunity and luxurious life. But they end up in debt and drawn into a criminal world full of scammers, thieves and sociopaths. Grand Theft Auto IV is a good game on one hand, but a bad one on the other.
Like previous games in the series, the fourth part turned out to be atmospheric
and exciting, but everything was ruined by poor optimization.

да современная графика, да свой движок, да владивосток фм, но всё же что-то пошло не так, нет той самой чарующей атмосферы предыдущих частей. но всё это только мой субъективизм, и возможно просто серия слегка наскучила, т.к. к этому времени я ознакомился с Saints Row 2 с массой развлекух итд.
и всё-таки плохой игру назвать нельзя, Рокстары планку держать умеют.
игру я до конца не прошел, но вернусь к ней обязательно) рекомендую!

GTA наконец обзавелась собственным движком, что помогло ей осовремениться. Настоящим откровением стал шаг, сделанный в сторону восточноевропейского мира: главный герой и его брат — сербы, а на улицах то и дело слышно русскую речь. В игре отлична передана атмосфера иммигрантского города как в гангстерской, так и в повседневной жизни. Среди персонажей добрая часть — выходцы из СССР, а по всему городу транслируют Vladivostok FM — радиостанцию с русскими песнями-шлягерами и украинской певицей Русланой в качестве ди-джея. Гармонично вписывается белорус Серёга. Не удивительно, что именно эта часть стала наиболее близкой нам.
Но кроме того в GTA 4 есть ещё и масса того, за что любят видеоигры. Более того — вернули мультиплеер, а в ПК-версию добавили полноценный видеоредактор. В остальном же … Read full
GTA 4 for me is better than the fifth part due to the fact that the four have - 1. GTA 4 для меня лучше пятой части из-за того, что в четверке есть — 1. Оживленная улица, то есть например когда один человек читает газету, а другой убирает мусор метлой 2. Движок Euphoria в котором есть рэгдолл! (который лучше чем в пятерке) 3. Удобное управление 4. Хорошая графика 5. Интересный сюжет 6. Копы в четверке умнее чем в пятерке потому что не толкают сзади машину как в пятерке, а наоборот пытаются сделать коробку и остановить тебя. Думаю этого хватит для того что-бы зарекомендовать игру
