An agricultural and foraging progression mod for Graveyard Keeper 2 that accelerates crop maturation and world resource regeneration. By default, the mod triples (3x) the growth velocity of garden crops while applying separate 3x regrowth multipliers to felled trees, harvested berry bushes, and wild mushrooms. Both multipliers can be dialed in to match your desired pacing—ranging from vanilla progression speeds (value 1) up to near-instantaneous yields (value 500). The mod is completely safe to install or remove at any point during your playthrough without altering save file stability (precautionary backups are still advised).
Key Features:
- Accelerated Crop Cultivation (3x Default) — Configurable speed multiplier governing all planted agricultural crops on garden plots.
- Accelerated Timber & Bush Regrowth (3x Default) — Separate speed multiplier for the natural regeneration of chopped trees and harvested berry bushes.
- Faster Mushroom Respawn (3x Default) — Rapid replenishment of wild mushrooms across forested zones for culinary and alchemy recipes.
- Flexible Tuning Bounds — Retain vanilla cadence by setting multipliers to 1, or trigger virtually instant regrowth by assigning a value of 500.
- Safe Save Lifecycle — Fully safe to add or remove mid-game without corrupting quests, farming states, or save files.
Two Distribution Variants:
- Main Version — Standalone release configured via standard BepInEx configuration files.
- GK2 Mod Framework Version — Integrates directly with GK2 Mod Framework, enabling live parameter adjustments via an in-game graphical menu.
Requirements & Installation:
- Ensure BepInEx 5.x (Unity Mono) is installed in your Graveyard Keeper 2 game folder.
- Launch the game once with BepInEx installed, then exit to desktop.
- Extract the downloaded mod archive.
- Copy the .dll file into:
BepInEx/plugins/ - Launch the game.
Configuration Instructions (Main Version):
- Launch the game once with the mod installed to generate BepInEx/config/nizy.gk2.fastercropgrowth.cfg.
- Open the configuration file in any text editor.
Available parameters:
- [Crop Growth] CropGrowthSpeedMultiplier = 3 — Multiplier applied to garden crop growth speed (1 for vanilla, 3 for triple speed, 500 for near-instant growth).
- [Tree And Bush Regrowth] TreeAndBushRegrowthSpeedMultiplier = 3 — Multiplier applied to tree and bush regrowth speed (1 for vanilla, 3 for triple speed, 500 for near-instant regrowth).
Save the file and restart the game to apply changes.
