Gigantoraptor is a genus of large oviraptorosaur dinosaurs in the family Caenagnathidae that lived in Asia during the Late Cretaceous period, about 96 million years ago. Unlike other family members, Gigantoraptor was truly massive, weighing 2.4 tons, 5 meters high and 8 meters long.
