LEGO The Hobbit is an arcade action adventure game with a third-person view in the Lord of the Rings universe. The events of the game cover the first two films in the Hobbit trilogy — An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug. You have to climb into the cubic skins of Bilbo, Gandalf, Thorin and the rest, and make a dangerous journey through Erebor. All the gnomes familiar from the saga also act as playable characters: Fili, Kili, Oin, Gloin, Dvalin, Balin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Dori, Nori and Ori, and each has their own abilities. For example, Bombur's vast belly can be used as a springboard. Together they will have to go through the Misty Mountains, the goblin settlement, Mirkwood and Rivendell.

The gameplay has been improved compared to Lego Lord of the Rings. The open world has become more diverse. The atmosphere and music are good. Tolkien's universe is conveyed well. The plot concerns 2 Hobbit films.

Лучшая, как минимум на момент выхода, из игр серии LEGO, на мой взгляд.
Однако, и у нее есть свои минусы. Первый — все сохраняющиеся косяки с управлением, передвижением, застреванием и т.д. (хотя не буду отрицать, что просто не привык играть с геймпадом, что тоже может быть причиной). Слишком часто я падал с какой-либо высоты, моста и прочего только потому что рядом толпились тупые ИИ союзники, либо персонаж решал прыгнуть вовсе не туда, куда нужно. Но да ладно. Второй из минусов — малое разнообразие у гномов, за которых приходится проводить подавляющие часы. Конечно, придумать для каждого гнома собственный итем, которым он будет контактировать с окружающим миром, очень трудно в силу их большого числа, а также наличия других персонажей.
