Men of War 2

Continuation of a series of historical strategies known in the CIS under the name “Behind Enemy Lines.” The events of the game again take place on the battlefields of World War II. In the game you can choose one of three sides and take part in large-scale battles. Infantrymen run across the battlefield and tanks drive, and airplanes fly across the sky. There are a total of 45 battalions and 300 types of transport to choose from — and each unit looks historically accurate. The battles take place on maps with a variety of designs and landscapes, which will allow seasoned generals to develop to the fullest.

The most important thing in the game is not the size of the troops, but how the general manages the units. An experienced commander will scout out the terrain and make wise use of the hills, crossings and impassable rivers. However, the landscape can change at any moment — for example, airstrikes can easily destroy the shelters behind which you planned to move the infantry. This will not be easy to do, even if the opponent is a computer — the AI ​​will give a serious rebuff. The trick is that you can control troops not only from above, but also by taking them under direct control. You can select a unit, switch to first-person view and destroy enemies with your own hands.

The game has two story campaigns. Both are dedicated to the Soviet troops and allies who heroically fought the Nazis in Russia and Europe. Among the missions will be such famous operations as “Bagration” and “Sack of Falaise”. In addition to the story, you can take part in multiplayer battles. There you will have to measure your strength with live players who will desperately fight for every centimeter of the map.
