Persona 4 Revival will not add Yosuke romance, Atlus says
At gamescom 2026, Atlus producer Kazuhisa Wada said Persona 4 Revival could not simply bring back Yosuke Hanamura's romance route without expanding the remake's scope far beyond that one change. The option was considered, but Wada said restoring it would have created a much larger problem for the remake.

“The perfection Atlus denied us”: fan mod for Persona 3 Reload with a female protagonist starts adding full cutscenes
When Persona 3 Reload launched in 2024, fans immediately noticed the absence of the female protagonist Kotone — a character first introduced in Persona 3 Portable. Atlus explained it simply: adding a female route would require “several times more time and resources” than any other content. Fans decided to take matters into their own hands.
