Three graphics optimization presets designed to reduce GPU load on different PC configurations. Performance targets are approximate. Actual results depend on your hardware, resolution, upscaler, and the scene being rendered. Available presets: Minimum — 1080p / 30 FPS Target:
- Designed for systems with GTX 1660 6 GB / Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB;
- Reduces shadow quality, view distance, and foliage density;
- Disables volumetric fog and Lumen reflections;
- Reduces Lumen global illumination sampling quality;
- Uses a smaller texture streaming pool and adaptive mip bias;
- Select 1920×1080 in-game and start with a compatible upscaler in Balanced mode.
Recommended — 1440p / 60 FPS Target:
- Designed for RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB / Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB;
- Moderate shadow quality and view distance;
- Reduces volumetric fog resolution;
- Lowers Lumen reflection rendering resolution;
- Preserves more texture detail and foliage than Minimum;
- Select 2560×1440 in-game and use an upscaler in Quality mode. Try Balanced for extra performance.
Low-End — Maximum Graphics Reduction:
- An aggressive preset for systems struggling even with Minimum;
- Disables dynamic shadows, Lumen global illumination, and Lumen reflections;
- Disables screen-space reflections, ambient occlusion, volumetric fog, and bloom;
- Further reduces view distance, foliage density, and texture detail;
- Uses the smallest texture streaming pool;
- Start at 1280×720 with a 30 FPS limit. If performance allows, try 1600×900;
- Disabling Lumen and shadows can significantly change lighting, especially indoors. Running below the game’s minimum requirements is not guaranteed.
Shared changes:
- All three presets disable motion blur, depth of field, lens flares, and chromatic aberration. Texture streaming remains enabled, with a different budget for each profile.
- Resolution, upscaler selection, and FPS limit are set through the game’s graphics menu.
How to install:
- Open: [Game Folder]\ProjectPBZ\Content\Paks\. If there is no ~mods folder, create one;
- Copy one of the presets into this folder: zzz_PBZ_Minimum_1080p_P.pak, zzz_PBZ_Recommended_1440p_P.pak, zzz_PBZ_LowEnd_P.pak;
- Launch the game and select your resolution, upscaler, and FPS limit;
- Disable Ray Tracing and Path Tracing in the graphics menu;
- Use only one preset at a time. To change profiles, remove the previous pak before installing a new one.
