Arguably the best remake of the series! Capcom has truly done a serious and enormous job: they not only added gorgeous graphics and a ton of detail, completely reworked the combat system, but also made changes to the story. Some characters' personalities were changed, giving them more screen time and depth. Many plot points were also reworked, of course, for the better.
The game leans more toward action, but this action is perfectly executed and doesn't overwhelm, unlike the sixth game, where the action became tiresome after just 10 minutes. There's also plenty of high-quality horror here.
This is arguably the perfect Resident Evil game and an example of what a remake of the fifth game and subsequent games in the series should be.

Capcom проделали действительно серьёзную и огромную работу:они добавили не только шикарную графику и массу деталей, полностью переработали боевую систему, но и внесли изменения в сюжет. Характер некоторых персонажей был изменён, им добавили больше экранного времени и глубины. Также переработали многие сюжетные моменты конечно же, в лучшую сторону.
Игра уходит больше в экшен, но этот экшен подан идеально и не перегружает, в отличие от шестой части, где экшен утомлял уже спустя 10 минут. Здесь же хватает и хоррора выполненного на высоком уровне.
Пожалуй, это идеальная часть Resident Evil и пример того, каким должен быть ремейк пятой части и следующих игр серии.
