Rule of Rose

Rule of Rose — Controlling Jennifer, the player explores game locations to search for items and clues, completes tasks and periodically encounters ordinary opponents and bosses. Combat in the game is almost always hand-to-hand, using improvised weapons. Since Jennifer is an ordinary girl, her attacks do not differ in strength or range. More often than not, flight is a more reasonable way out of a situation than open confrontation. Apart from the bosses, the opponents in the game are short creatures that look like children. Sometimes the player encounters other opponents wearing the heads of different animals.
