Shadow of the Road

A step -by -step tactical role -playing game, the setting of which is the feudal Japan of 1868, supplemented by magic and steampunk. Japan is split between supporters of the Tokugav shogunate and the imperial army supported by the East Nipon Company and advanced Western technologies. Magic and mechanics, traditions and progress collide on the streets of ancient cities, where temples are lost among giant steam machines. At this turning point, the fate of the country depends on those who are ready to fight for their future.

Ronins Sator and Akira receive the task to protect the boy whose uncontrollable magic can change the course of history. Their path will lead them to soldiers, spies and creatures, each of which has their own motivation. Some will become allies, others will become dangerous enemies, and each choice will change not only the fate of the heroes, but also the Japan itself.

Tactical battles unfold in step -by -step format, where each character has unique skills and combat style. However, victory depends not only on the skill of the sword, but also on strategic thinking - personal relationships, ambitions and fears of allies also play an important role. It depends on your solutions who will come out the winner in this clash of eras.
