Star Tactics Redux

Star Tactics Redux is a free-to-play hardcore top-down strategy game with turn-based combat in a sci-fi setting. You have to lead the space fleet and lead it to victory in a brutal war for resources. Among the features you will find a high degree of replayability, an endless mode with a random system (in addition to the main campaign), 36 types of spaceships, 9 types of weapons, as well as advanced artificial intelligence.
