Perhaps one of the best simulators of all time. This series has been going on for quite a long time and every time something interesting and funny appears. I don’t play it myself now, but I’ve always been attracted to this game. Especially the opportunity to build your own home. Where else can you fully build a house and furnish it, except in real life? Few games can boast such a thoughtful editor. The Sims 4 emphasizes and embellishes parts of the series that came before, not without interesting innovations.

After so many years, I again plunged into a new part of this sticky game. The game will appeal to those who have a well-developed imagination, and for those who, like me, played the first parts, you will definitely plunge into the crazy nostalgia of the “moverlode”)

I remember playing The Sims as a child on my sister’s computer (pirate, of course). Even then, I didn’t really understand the meaning of all the possible paid DLC, commensurate with the price of the game itself, and I didn’t understand the meaning of the game itself. The entire gameplay usually stops for creating a family or the whole family, which became more enjoyable with the presence of pirated DLC. Now I find out that The Sims 4 no longer needs to be pirated and it is now a Free to play game (trash). As always, Epic Games made the most ingenious move and GIVEAWAY THE SIMS 4 FOR FREE WITH SEVERAL DLC, thanks to both of them, but I still wasn’t going to install it, and my review is based on experience 7 years ago. In short: the editor is good as always, the gameplay... well, just the Sims, who doesn’t know how to play the Sims in 2k23, the DLC is a mess.

Without all the DLC, the game is like a demo version, with a meager selection of everything, you can’t really enjoy it. And to buy all the DLC you need to spend a lot of money. The gameplay is not enough for a long time, after living a couple of game lives, interest begins to slowly fade away... Just a game or two.

The next part of the Sims is still just as good. Good character and house editor. But some of the content is available in DLC and this is EA’s policy. Much was lost from part 3. Much has also been improved. Graphics, sound, editor have become better. In addition to the cut out very demanding open world. Is 3 parts better no rather than yes. Now, of course, it might be better considering the DLS, but they all need to be taken separately. Considering that previously it itself was paid. Now of course it's free. But you still have to buy DLS. The game also has a developed modding community and you can find a lot of cool stuff. So the game is not straightforward.

The best life simulator with a lot of varied content and features, although probably only small children, or girls, will play this.

A very cool game, it can be a good way to kill time. Unlike part 3, the game has many new features. Upgrading talents has become more difficult. How funny it is to watch when a Sim, who doesn’t know how to cook, drops salt or something else every now and then. It has also become more difficult to build a career; you need to learn skills and complete tasks. Now the game seems to be free and anyone can play it.

Having recently decided to play this game again, quite a lot of memories from my youth were able to pop up in my head; mainly due to the fact that I played it on my old laptop, where it took about an hour to load. But I waited, because the game was really able to draw me in... for a while until I returned to part 3. Even though this is a good simulator (although without add-ons you will get bored playing like this after 5 minutes), quite a lot of content was cut compared to part 3 (although it was slowly returned in the same add-ons) and you can’t get away with it with just graphical improvements. If you have not played any of the parts, then you can start with this one and are unlikely to regret it, but if you have played the previous ones, then you will either be disappointed or feel a surge of nostalgia.

I periodically return to the game and understand that it is becoming more fresh. I’ve just started playing 4. It’s a little difficult with professions (with some). I’ll continue to dig deeper into it. The graphics are of course fire.
