A major update has been announced for the System Shock Remake

Nightdive Studios announced a significant update for the System Shock remake. The update will bring not only numerous fixes to the gameplay but also some new features.

Update features:

A new player character — a female hacker;
Support for the Cloud Sync feature, allowing to continue the game on any computer without losing progress;
An updated ending — the final battle with SHODAN has been reworked;
Some enemies have received updated attacks;
Improved optimization, especially on Steam Deck;
Enhanced controller support;
Added waypoints for playing on easy difficulty level;
Improved enemy AI;
Fixed some animations;
Reworked balance;
The game's ending screen can now be skipped;
The duration of EMP stunning has been reduced by 25%;
Fixed some bugs.

The update will be available on April 11th. As a reminder, the System Shock remake is set to release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on May 21st.
