CI Games has entered into an agreement with Epic Games to release a sequel to Lords of the Fallen. The new part is officially in development for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The first Lords of the Fallen was released in October 2023. The game from the Hexworks studio did not gain much success with critics and players. Many praised souls-like for its beautiful world and unique mechanics with two realities, but listed the rather banal gameplay and boring bosses as «cons». On Metacritic the game received a score of 74 out of 100, and on Steam it earned a rating of 61% and mixed reviews.
