Konami producer says he would be happy to work with Hideo Kojima again

At least some Konami people wouldn't mind the return of Hideo Kojima. As Metal Gear series producer Noriaki Okamura said, he «dreams» about collaborating with the famous game designer.

He let it slip during Konami's Metal Gear livestream today:

It's not my place to respond on behalf of anyone outside the company or to guess what they might think about it. But speaking for myself, I would love nothing more than to work with Mr. Kojima and the rest of the team again. If this could happen, it would be a dream come true.

In addition, he noted that many employees from the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater team are involved in working on the remake.

A disagreement between Konami and Hideo Kojima occurred in 2015. The company terminated the employment contract with the developer and even began to erase all mentions of him for its products. According to some reports, the reason was the misuse of funds by Kojima — the game designer was so eager to release his demo of Silent Hills (P.T.) that he even used part of the funding for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

The other day new details emerged about the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
