The creator of Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma has officially left Capcom

Game designer Hideaki Itsuno, who worked on such series as Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma, has officially left Capcom. He announced this on his social media page.

In a short message, he said that he was leaving the studio after 30 years of work. The game designer thanked the audience and expressed confidence that players will continue to support his projects. He himself intends to start developing a new game in another company in September.

Hideaki Itsuno did not name the reason for his departure from Capcom. His last game developed at this studio was the acclaimed Dragon's Dogma 2.

It recently became known that the lead screenwriter of Detroit: Become Human and Star Wars Eclipse left the Quantic Dream studio.
