A demo of The Forever Winter from Doom and Mass Effect veterans has been released on Steam
Recently, The Forever Winter was released — a post-apocalyptic looter shooter with horror elements, in which humanity survives among huge fighting machines. The developers recently released a demo version that will allow you to try out the game for free.
It is noteworthy that the game was created by Fun Dog Studios, whose ranks include former developers of Doom, the Mass Effect series, and Horizon: Zero Dawn. The plot is simple — humanity survives on the ruins of the past in a post-apocalypse with huge combat mech robots, and the latter are constantly fighting each other. Gamers will take on the role of surviving people who scour battlefields and locations in search of something valuable. The Forever Winter can be played both alone and in co-op.
You can download the demo version on the project page on Steam. The Forever Winter is currently in early access, but has already received thousands of positive reviews and a 74% rating. The game itself can be purchased for $30.
The most popular Steam Next Fest demos were previously named. And before that, a demo of a new survival game about a frozen Earth was released.
