New Metro Awakening gameplay shows station defense from mutants
IGN has released a new video with gameplay of the VR shooter Metro Awakening. This time, players were shown the defense of one of the Moscow subway stations, the main character's home, and a powerful explosion at the end.
The seven-minute video contains a bit of everyday life in the Moscow metro and how the station's residents, together with the main character, fight off mutants. At some point, the player will have to stand behind a machine gun, holding back a wave of opponents, after which he will have to wall up the entrance to the metro station.
Recall that Metro Awakening will be a spin-off to the main Metro series. The events of the shooter start before the first part. Gamers will have to play a doctor nicknamed Serdar, who will go on a journey to get medicine for his wife.
The game is scheduled for release on November 7 for Steam VR, Quest, and PlayStation VR2.
Recently, the developers of Metro Awakening showed another gameplay video with a shootout.
