A demo of a survival game in the spirit of The Forest with crafting, an open world, and capturing camps has appeared
A demo version of the role-playing survival game Robinson Crusoe, based on the classic novel of the same name by Daniel Defoe, has appeared on Steam. Like the main character of the work, players will need to survive on a tropical island surrounded by predators and hostile tribes — in this way, the project strongly resembles The Forest and Conan Exiles.
The game takes place on the Caribbean islands of the 17th century. Gamers in the role of a shipwreck survivor Robinson will need to explore an island with abandoned temples and camps of wild tribes — the developers even implemented rock climbing. To survive, you will need to build your first base and craft armor and weapons — the latter will come in handy to repel attacks from animals and natives.
The trial version also includes three missions. In the first one, the player will need to explore one of the caves and eventually fight the tribe, having studied stealth and the combat system, the second one will offer to attack the enemy base, and the third one will test survival skills.
You can download the demo version of Robinson Crusoe at this link. The full game will be released in the second quarter of 2025.
Earlier, a trial version of the survival game about the zombie apocalypse in Texas appeared on Steam. Players can also try out the brutal action horror from the creators of Doom and Mass Effect for free.
