Rumor: Rocksteady is developing a Batman: Arkham Asylum remake

It looks like Warner Bros. is looking to make up for the failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League by playing on fans' nostalgia. According to an insider, the company has given the green light to develop a Batman: Arkham Asylum remake.

The information was shared by streamer Vara Dark, who allegedly received the information directly from someone at Rocksteady. Earlier, she also talked about layoffs within the studio, which were later confirmed. However, it is better to treat the news as a rumor, since the source is not the most reliable. However, before Vara Dark, another insider stated that Rocksteady is indeed working on something based on Batman series.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League should also add Deathstroke and the «real» Batman, according to Vara Dark's information. The characters may appear in the last two seasons.

Previously, a Batman: Arkham Asylum fan released the final set of 4K textures for the game, essentially making it a remaster.
