Survival Game Cairn Demo Released on Steam with Extremely Positive Reviews
A demo version of a rather curious project Cairn from the creators of Furi and Haven has appeared on Steam. In this survival game, gamers will have to conquer the top of a mountain, practicing rock climbing, distributing resources, wisely setting up camps and thinking through the route.
The player in the role of a girl named Aava will have one goal — to conquer a mountain that no one has climbed yet. To do this, you will need to practice in Tenzen National Park. To succeed, you need to collect enough supplies, improve your rock climbing skills, learn to solve puzzles and study the local survival system in low pressure conditions. The developers also promise realistic mountaineering mechanics right down to maintaining balance. The composer of Control and Limbo worked on the music in the game.
You can download the demo version of Cairn at this link. By the way, the demo itself has already received a rating of 98% based on two hundred reviews. The full version of the game will be released in 2025 — you can add it to your wishlist here.
