S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Players Test A-Life System After Patch 1.1
Recently, a large-scale update 1.1 was released for the shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which fixed more than 1800 bugs and fixed some mechanics. The first significant improvements were also received by the A-Life 2.0 system, which «revives» the Zone.
Players decided to test the patch by exploring locations with NPCs using a free camera. As YouTuber ZoneSlug showed, progress is really evident — now mutants fight each other, and stalkers can have a shootout with bandits or relax in the camp.

In general, the state of the system is strikingly different from what it was at the release of the game. Now the Zone feels more eventful. In addition, according to gamers' feedback, NPCs have stopped disappearing and appearing behind the player's back and can now participate in random scenes at a significant distance from the player. However, there are still some shortcomings, so we can expect new fixes.
Yesterday, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 received three new patches at once. We touched on the first major update above, and the last two made minor adjustments such as eliminating a crash when loading saves and endless compilation of shaders.
