Assassin's Creed 2's 15th Anniversary: ​​Early Concepts of the Game and Ezio Showed

Assassin's Creed 2 recently celebrated its 15th anniversary. Ubisoft decided to mark the anniversary with a short documentary about the development, showing early concept sketches of Ezio and storyboards of cutscenes.

Assassin's Creed 2 game designer Jean Guesdon broke down the first trailers, gameplay, and other details of the game in the video, talking about the production process. Among other things, he showed the first concepts of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's appearance, some of which have not yet been shown to the public.

The video also features a comparison of early and near-release gameplay, concept art of locations, and the first footage of the game. By the way, Ubisoft not only celebrated the anniversary of one of its most successful games in the franchise, but also Assassin's Creed Day, which officially takes place on December 21. In honor of the significant date, the company presented an updated Assassin's Creed logo, which had already been seen a little earlier:
