Ubisoft Working on Unannounced AAA and AAAA Games
Despite the dire financial situation and the closure of XDefiant, Ubisoft has not lost its ambition and is working on high-budget games. This information follows from the profile of one of the employees of the Indian division of the company.
Users noticed that the resume of Ubisoft India junior sound engineer Karthikeyan S. on LinkedIn mentions two completely new AAA and AAAA projects of the studio that have not yet been announced. The employee himself is responsible for creating sound design, special effects and noises and has been working on games for about two years.
Recall that Ubisoft's first AAAA game was the disastrous Skull and Bones, which not only required an impressive development budget, but also failed to attract a large audience. Initially, the game was sold on Steam at a cost of $70, but now the project can be purchased with a 60% discount for $23 for the basic edition. It took about seven years to create.
Earlier, insider and journalist Tom Henderson said that Ubisoft plans to split Far Cry 7 into two games. According to him, the studio will radically rework the gameplay formula, focusing on a limited time of passage. Meanwhile, the developers shared new details of Assassin's Creed: Shadows with a reference to Naruto.
