Dying Light 2 gets a mod that brings back the content shown at E3 2019

A beta version of the mod for Dying Light 2: Stay Human was recently released, which brings back the content shown at E3 2019. The add-on includes changes to graphics, gameplay, mechanics, and other large-scale reworks.

So far, only the demo version of the E3 Definitive Mod is ready for public testing. According to the developers from Long Jump Collective, serious glitches and errors may occur in the gameplay. However, the mod already adds many graphical changes and a completely new parkour system, and also replaces NPC models, weather, user interface, and gameplay. Ideally, the final result should bring the original Dying Light 2 closer to the version shown at E3 2019.

You can download the E3 Definitive Mod at this link. In the future, the developers plan to add new maps like the Elysium district and rework the plot.

Let us recall that the story trailer for Dying Light: The Beast was released in December. The main character of the spin-off will again be Kyle Crane, and the story will tell about his survival after inhuman experiments. The release will take place in the summer on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
