Borderlands 4 Devs Promise Most Deep Skill Trees in Series

The release of Borderlands 4 is just around the corner, and the developers are teasing the fan audience with new details. This time, they talked about the skill system — it will offer players a variety of skills for different builds.
In an interview with GamesRadar+, senior producer Anthony Nicholson of the project said that players will be able to build their gameplay and create character builds as they please. According to him, Borderlands 4 will have the «deepest and most diverse skill trees».
Borderlands 4 gives players the greatest freedom to shoot and loot that they've ever had in the franchise, which stays true to the core of what made Borderlands so innovative when it first landed on the scene.
He also promised «an unprecedented level of expression through their builds». In addition, the game will have a lot of different weapons and new movement mechanics. Probably, we are talking about the addition of the grappling hook, which was talked about a little earlier.
Borderlands 4 is scheduled for release this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Earlier, the head of Gearbox hinted that the game will not have an open world in the usual sense. However, he promised seamless locations and even the ability to visit the moon without any loading.
