Tom Henderson Hints at Return of God of War Games to Greece

Reputable journalist and insider Tom Henderson has heard something about the further development of the God of War series. According to him, players will meet young Kratos again in Greece.

In the latest episode of the Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, he shared rumors about a new part of God of War. The journalist's sources said that one of the future projects of the franchise will return young Kratos to his homeland. Whether it will be a sequel, a remaster, or a full-fledged reboot of the series, he does not yet know.

By the way, information about the remasters already leaked in the fall of 2024. According to rumors, Sony has already completed the development of a collection with classic games about God of War, the announcement may take place in the first half of 2025.

The podcast also mentioned the future State of Play. As Insider Gaming Editor-in-Chief Grant Taylor-Hill explained, the presentation will feature some promising game from a studio that has already been at Gamescom 2024. The event itself may take place on Thursday, February 13.
