S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Developers Revealed Key Detail of Next Update

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl recently received a major patch 1.3, which brought hundreds of improvements to the game. Meanwhile, GSC Game World is preparing for the next update, sharing a few details.

On the official Discord server, the developers said that they intend to transfer some of the features for the New Game + to the base version. In particular, this concerns the point of no return, after which the player cannot explore the open world without restrictions. Weapons and upgrades available at this stage will soon appear in the Zone's stashes.

In the next patch we are moving several attachments and upgrades from the “point of no return” end game sequence to Prypiat stashes.

Thus, players will be able to further explore the Zone, stocking up on the best weapons from the endgame. GSC Game World has not yet revealed when exactly this update will be released.

Earlier in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 gamers tested the NPC AI and stealth mechanics, checking their work after patch 1.3. Another trailer for the shooter was also unexpectedly released.
