New Open-World RPG Survival Game with Magic, Dragons, and Crafting Announced in the RuneScape Universe

British company Jagex Ltd has announced an adventurous RPG survival game set in the fantasy world of RuneScape: Dragonwilds. The game will feature sandbox elements, an open world, and online co-op support for up to four players (single-player mode is also available). The project is being developed using Unreal Engine 5.
As one might guess, the main action unfolds in the universe of the MMORPG RuneScape. Players will find themselves on the uncharted continent of Ashenfall in the world of Gielinor. Gamers will have to uncover the mysteries of ancient civilizations and battle legendary creatures, including the powerful Dragon Queen.
"Journey through the vast, vibrant regions of Ashenfall and unveil the ruins of forgotten civilisations to discover why wild, transformative magic spills from its fractured lands," reads the description.
Throughout the game, players will be able to craft items, build structures, level up skills, and use magic.
The game is planned to be released in early access in the spring of 2025. There is already a page on Steam.
