A Reason to Return to MARVEL Cosmic Invasion? The Game Got a Patch with New Content

The superhero beat ’em up MARVEL Cosmic Invasion received a free update that, among other things, added 12 new character skins. You can see the changes in the trailer.

List of skins:

  • MARVEL Rivals skin for Spider‑Man and Venom;
  • MARVEL Snap skin for Black Panther and Rocket Raccoon;
  • MARVEL Strike Force skin for She‑Hulk and Wolverine;
  • MARVEL Future Fight skin for Captain America and Nova;
  • MARVEL Contest of Champions skin for Phyla‑Vell and Beta Ray Bill;
  • MARVEL Puzzle Quest skin for Storm and Iron Man.

Other patch notes:

  • Low‑health heroes are now highlighted;
  • Focus bar has been split;
  • Special‑skill damage numbers are now red;
  • Changed the heteropteron larva level;
  • Rebalanced bosses Hela, Venom, and Phyla‑Vell;
  • Slight adjustments to levels 1, 8, 9 and 13;
  • Numerous bug fixes.

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a pixel‑style beat ’em up about a massive invasion led by Annihilus. The Avengers, the X‑Men, and the Guardians of the Galaxy stand against the supervillain. The game features 15 playable characters with unique moves and 16 levels. It launched in early December on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
