Rumor: Microsoft wants to speed up the development of Fallout 5. The game could even be taken away from Bethesda
Insider and journalist Jez Corden from WindowsCentral said that Microsoft intends to speed up the development of Fallout 5 in the wake of the popularity of the Amazon series of the same name. As a last resort, the company could remove Bethesda from creating the game by hiring another studio.
In a recent Xbox Two podcast, Jez Corden revealed that Microsoft is «very aware» of the high demand for the Fallout franchise. The next game could become extremely successful due to the interest of the audience after the series. According to the insider, the project may even be entrusted to another studio to speed up the process, removing Bethesda from development.
Let's remember that two years ago Todd Howard said that Fallout 5 would be released only after The Elder Scrolls 6. Most likely, the release will not occur before 2030.
