The Elder Scrolls 6

Elder Scrolls 6 — the next chapter in the iconic series of adventure role-playing games The Elder Scrolls. The project is currently in pre-production, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, renowned developers who previously released TES 5: Skyrim and Fallout 4. The events of the new game may take place in the northwestern province of Tamriel — High Rock, where you can enjoy scenic mountain locations and visit cities such as Northpoint, Evermor, Orsinium, Daggerfall, and many others.

The Elder Scrolls 6 is a single-player role-playing game with action elements set in a large, open world. It is currently in the pre-production stage at Bethesda, with development to begin after the release of the space opera Starfield (later 2020) for next-generation consoles and PC.

The story of the sixth installment in the "Ancient Scrolls" series takes place in the world of Nirn — a fictional planet of the Elder Scrolls universe, also called "the land of mortals." There is no specific information about the region yet.

Most likely, Bethesda will continue to tell the story of Tamriel, the largest continent on the planet. This makes sense, given the many races, classes, guilds, spheres of activity, and political entities, providing rich material for creating and exploring any conflict.

In this case, it is most probable that the action will take place in High Rock — a hilly and rocky northwestern region of Tamriel.

The native population includes Bretons, a human race with elven blood, as well as orcs, who inhabit the central provinces and the citadel of Orsinium. The province also features Nords from northern Skyrim and Rieclmen — witches and warlocks of High Rock. The Empire from Cyrodiil may send an expeditionary force to regain control of the province.

There are also two other options. The first is Hammerfell, a neighboring province to High Rock (or both). The design of the game world shown in the trailer supports this version. The second option is that TES 6 will take place on the continent adjacent to Tamriel — Akavir. In that case, Bethesda will have full creative freedom to introduce new races, locations, events, and significantly expand the game universe.

Details of the plot of The Elder Scrolls 6 are still unknown. According to Todd Howard , Bethesda's lead game designer, the game will have a plot. Considering that the series moves forward along the in-game chronology, it can be expected that TES 6 will begin several centuries after the events of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

Ancient scrolls play an important role in the series, predicting the future. For example, the events of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion were foretold in the "Prophecy of the Grey Hood of Nocturnal," and the events of Skyrim — in the "Prophecy of Dovakiin." A scroll predicting the events of The Elder Scrolls 6 has not yet been found, but it may appear as an Easter egg in The Elder Scrolls Online or The Elder Scrolls:Blades.

The protagonist of The Elder Scrolls 6 will be another prisoner, sentenced to death, who finds themselves in the right place at the right time. Gaining freedom and an important quest to save the world, they will, if the story takes place in High Rock, have to balance the interests of the Breton Kingdoms, Orcs, the Empire, and the Aldmeri Dominion. Or choose one side.

It is clear that there will still be a choice between Tamriel's races and character classes — from humans and elves to khajiit and argonians, from mages and hunters to soldiers and thieves.

Details about the single-player mode of The Elder Scrolls 6 are still unknown. According to Todd Howard, the game will be a single-player experience.

It can be said right away that there will be no multiplayer in The Elder Scrolls 6, as ZeniMax is developing the MMO The Elder Scrolls Online. It is popular among players due to its large amount of PvE and PvP content, numerous races, full-fledged leveling, and many regions of Tamriel.
