The artist showed what the Imperial City from the cult TES 4: Oblivion should really look like
An Elder Scrolls fan has recreated the Imperial City from The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion using Unreal Engine 5. The capital of Cyrodiil has acquired a scale that was not present in the original game.
The appearance of the Imperial City in TES 4: Oblivion confused many fans of the series in the year the RPG was released. If in the in-game literature it was described as a grandiose settlement with a large number of inhabitants, then in the game the city appeared as a rather modest location with two to three dozen houses.
Artist (Leo Torres) Leo Torres decided to return the Imperial City to its true size, using the capabilities of the UE 5 engine. The video shows a panorama of the capital with recognizable buildings like the Arena and the White Gold Tower, as well as a view of the city at night.
The artist's work did not leave the audience indifferent:
Previously, the same artist recreated one of the Skyrim locations using Unreal Engine 5.
