Vampire Survivors is a gothic action game with a top-down view, where players fend off hordes of monsters. The player's task is to move around the arena and collect crystals dropped by enemies while the hero automatically kills the monsters. There are secrets in the game that can be used to unlock unique characters. We will talk about them in this guide.

How to Unlock the Secrets Menu

All secrets are entered through a special menu. It can be opened in two ways:

  • Find Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane. They drop from Sketamari, which are located in the southern part of Bone Zone. On the map, they are displayed as a question mark.
  • Click on the penultimate relic icon seven times. The Yellow Sign is located in this cell. If you do everything correctly, the message You are now a magician! will appear.

How to Unlock Secret Characters in Vampire Survivors

Each of the secret characters looks like an ordinary enemy. They can be unlocked through certain actions, which we will describe below. After the word Algorithm, you will find a clear sequence of actions. When you meet all the conditions, a characteristic sound signal will play. After that, the hero can be purchased with gold coins. If the character is unlocked in a different way, we will indicate this in the description.

And if you don't want to spend time on this, you can immediately enter the code in the secrets menu. We mark it as Command.

Avatar Infernas

To unlock it, you need to defeat the final boss of the game, Cappella Magna, and visit the Inlaid Library in inverted mode.

Command: kalvasflam.

Boon Marrabbio

Algorithm:

  1. Collect 100 Floor Chickens.
  2. Go to the location Mad Forest. Note that in Hyper mode, you will get Boon Marrabbio faster, but you can also stick with the standard game settings.
  3. During the level, find Skull'O Maniac and Pummarola.
  4. Pies will appear in the arena, which restore health. Collect them. They will lead you to a secret boss that needs to be defeated.
  5. After defeating it, open the character selection menu and buy Boon Marrabbio for 666 gold coins.

Peppino

Algorithm:

  1. Unlock Hyper Mode in the game. We have described it in a separate guide.
  2. Open the Celestial Dusting weapon. It is the starting weapon for O'Sole Meeo. Other characters can also equip it if you purchase the dust for 1000 gold coins.
  3. Launch the Il Molise level.
  4. Attack plants with Celestial Dust. Instead of killing them, you will be restoring their health.
  5. When you restore 100,000 health points to the plants, a characteristic sound will play.
  6. On the character selection screen, purchase Peppino for 666 gold coins.

Command: pinociampino.

Minnah Mannarah

Algorithm:

  1. Acquire the Yellow Sign. You will find it on the Holy Forbidden level.
  2. It is advisable, but not necessary, to unlock an item called Mad Groove VIII. It will unlock if you last 31 minutes on the Mad Forest level. This device attracts all items on the level to the player.
  3. Head to the Dairy Plant location. There you need to find a special cheese, located northwest from your starting position. Pick it up.
  4. Defeat the seven werewolves that will appear near you.
  5. Return to the character selection menu and purchase Minnah Mannarah for 666 gold coins.

Leda

Algorithm:

  1. Move to the Gallo Tower location. To unlock it, you need to reach level 60 in Dairy Plant.
  2. Head south. The screen will gradually darken. When it becomes completely black, Leda will appear as one of the bosses.
  3. Defeat her. Leda has a lot of health but no ranged weapon. Therefore, it is advisable to keep your distance and hit her from afar.
  4. After winning, return to the character selection menu and purchase Leda for 666 gold coins.

Cosmo Pavone

Algorithm:

  1. Choose a character who does not have golden eggs, which can be bought from a merchant or obtained by killing bosses. You can find out if these items are available on the hero's statistics screen, at the bottom of the left window. Note: disabling the golden egg bonuses will not work, you need to choose a character who has never had them.
  2. Launch the Cappella Magna level in any mode.
  3. During the game, acquire two weapons — Ebony Wings and Peachone.
  4. Move to the north of the location. You must find an item known as Nduja Fritta Tanto. You need to pick it up and unlock the balcony where Cosmo Pavone lies.
  5. Return to the character selection screen. There you can purchase Cosmo for 666 gold coins.

Command: lhovistoio (first letter is a lowercase L).

Big Trouser

Algorithm:

  1. Open the Moongolow level. To do this, you need to unlock Hyper Mode for the four initial locations.
  2. You need to find and upgrade to the maximum all 16 support items that are in the game.
  3. As soon as you see that all passive artifacts have been developed to the maximum, exit to the main menu. If Death kills you, then unlocking Big Trouser will not be possible.
  4. You can buy this character for 5000 gold coins.

Command: earrivatolarrotino.

Gains Boros

Algorithm:

  1. Head to the Bone Zone location.
  2. Move north. You must find a ring of flowers.
  3. Stay in it for 10 seconds. Then you will hear an unusual ringing. It signals that the challenge has been passed.
  4. Return to the character selection menu and purchase Gains Boros for 666 gold coins.

Command: highfive.

Smith IV

Algorithm:

  1. Unlock Tosty and Exdash Exiviiq. We have written about how to do this above.
  2. Open the main menu and type the command spam on the keyboard.
  3. Go to the character selection screen and enter spam again.
  4. Open the locations menu and type spam for the third time.
  5. When you enter the arena, type the command humbug. You should hear a characteristic sound. If not — start over.
  6. Go to the character menu and buy Smith IV for 7777 gold coins.

Note that after the first entry of the word spam, a timer will start. You need to manage to type all commands, including humbug, in less than 30 seconds.

Command: maybeimastallion.

Gyorunton

Algorithm:

  1. Start the Boss Rush mode with only one weapon.
  2. You need to last for 15 minutes. You cannot change the weapon.
  3. Then go to the character menu and buy Gyorunton for 5000 gold coins.

Command: secondevolution.

Mask of the Red Death

Algorithm:

  1. Start the level in any mode except Endless Mode.
  2. Last for 30 minutes until Death appears.
  3. Defeat her. We will talk about how to do this in a separate guide.
  4. Return to the character menu and purchase the Mask of the Red Death for 666 gold coins.

Command: ablasphemousmockery.

Exdash Exiviiq

Algorithm:

  1. Start any location.
  2. Destroy light sources there.
  3. From them, with a small chance, a Little Clover may drop. If you pick up such an item, you will get a chance for Exdash Exiviiq. In this case, a characteristic signal will sound.
  4. In the character menu and buy the hero for 777 gold coins.

Random

You can obtain this character randomly. Just open the coffins you encounter on the locations. After a distinctive sound signal, you will be able to purchase the hero for 5000 gold coins.

Command: igottagettotheedgeofsoul.

Scorej-Oni

Algorithm:

  1. Unlock the Mirror of Grace. To do this, you need to unlock all other relics in the game. We will talk more about them in a separate guide.
  2. Start the Hyper Tiny Bridge level.
  3. Move right until you see a mini-boss, then defeat it.
  4. Return to the character selection menu and purchase Scorej-Oni for 5000 gold coins.

Command: notsureitsthunder.

Toastie

Algorithm:

  1. Unlock Exdash Exiviiq. We have talked about how to do this above.
  2. Select this hero and start the Diary Plant level.
  3. Wait until the Green Death appears and defeat it.
  4. Immediately after the death of this monster, Toastie will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  5. As quickly as possible, press the key combination Down (S)+Enter. You should hear a distinctive sound.
  6. Go to the character selection menu and purchase Toastie for 777 gold coins.

Note: The Green Death has a 1% chance to appear immediately. If this does not happen, with a 30% chance, you will see it at the 8th or 12th minute. To avoid wasting so much time, you can restart the level over and over until the boss appears in the first seconds.

Command: tramezzini.

How to get 3000 gold coins

This is not a cheat code, as one might think, but a kind of gift from the developers, which is given only once. For this, you need to enter the following sequence of combinations on the startup screen:

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Esc, Enter.

You can use the arrows on the keyboard. After this, your virtual account will be replenished by 3000 gold coins.
