This is one of the last main quests you can take in Vernworth. After you fail to attend the coronation ceremony of the false ruler, the captain will suggest finding sages who know how the Voice of the Sovereign works, and perhaps even obtain a similar item.

The journey is a long one: first, you need to head to the Border Town (a carriage will be waiting at the city's western gates every morning). The ride will cost you 200 gold. As usual, you may be attacked by a group of goblins on the way, or, as in our case, a giant cyclops.

This place will be needed several times for future quests, so you may agree.

When you arrive in the city of Bakbattal, Menella will meet you and ask to meet her in the nearest tavern. Complete this task to receive the Battal Resident Certificate and complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive 3200 experience points.
